Excess fat deposits can have a significant negative effect on our self-esteem apart from being a health hazard. Many of us struggle with these stubborn fat around our bellies, thighs, and shoulders which we have been trying to get rid of over the years. Good news is that new technological advances have caught up with the need to target these stubborn fat cells and tone muscles. One new innovative approach is using High Intensity Electromagnetic (HIEMS) fields to target both fat cells and muscles toning at the same time.
What is HIFEM Technology
High Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) Energy is technological advancement that has shown to break down fat and tone muscle in the targeted area of the body. It affects the skeletal muscles by providing supramaximal contractions. This helps the muscles to grow over time and help with further fat reduction and body tone. The supramaximal contraction leads to lipolysis where the body goes into a catabolic state with release of free fatty acids.
What Is Body Sculpting?
Body sculpting is a procedure that targets stubborn fat cells along with the skeletal muscles in the area of the abdomen and the thighs. It improves abdominal tone, strengthens the abdominal muscles and develops a firmer abdomen. It can be used for toning and firming of the buttocks, thighs, calves and arms using a combination of novel radio-frequency and high-intensity focused electromagnetic technology (HIFEM) treatment to target the muscles.
It’s completely non-surgical and there is a minimum recovery time. If you are one of us that has struggled with shedding fat in your belly and other parts, consider body sculpting at our office. The procedure works to create a more sculpted shape.
The procedure is recommended for both men and women with stubborn fat that has not responded to exercise, diet and lifestyle changes.
