Our patients are always asking us for healthy lunch recommendations around our Medical Center located in Old Town Scottsdale. Because most of our services are minimally invasive or non-invasive, our patients like to grab a (healthy) bite to eat before or after they come to see us. We have decided to list out our 5 favorite Old Town Scottsdale restaurants in which you can easily get yourself a healthy lunch!
1. ChopShop
ChopShop is known for its healthy cuisine, flavorful menu items and unique pressed juices. With a location in Old Town Scottsdale on 5th Ave and Scottsdale Rd and a brand new location in Tempe, ChopShop is really taking Arizonians by storm. It is a great place to grab a healthy and filling lunch, whether that comes in the form of a salad or sandwich; not to mention the cool and calm atmosphere that this one-of-a-kind restaurant has to offer.
2. Green
Just south of Old Town Scottsdale, Green is one restaurant you won’t want to miss out on. It is known for its vegetarian and vegan friendly menu items, but is a favorite amongst non-vegetarians as well. The philosophy of Green is unique to the Scottsdale/Tempe area. A 100% vegan restaurant, Green features a wide variety of menu items including fresh salads, noodle bowls and even a vegan take on the “Big Mac”.
3. The Herb Box
The Herb Box’s menu is just as healthy and delicious as the restaurant’s name sounds. This is one of our favorite lunch spots in Old Town for a few reasons. Firstly, its vibe and location are excellent. You’ll instantly gain a few “cool” points by walking inside. Secondly, their salad and wrap menus are perfect for anyone looking to have more than one or two “healthy” options on a menu to choose from. Located right on the canal just west of Scottsdale road on Stetson Dr., you’ll find yourself walking around Old Town after lunch when the weather is right.
4. Stingray Sushi
Always a favorite healthy option, their sushi is flavorful, satisfying and low in the calorie and fat departments. Stingray Sushi is located right in the heart of Old Town on Scottsdale Rd and Greenway Pkwy. Their menu has all of the usuals in terms of sushi favorites but has a few extras that you won’t find anywhere else. If sushi isn’t your thing, no worries—they have relatively large salad and noodle menu sections (for a sushi restaurant).
5. D’lish
At D’lish, “You are what you eat” is the simple phrase in which the entire menu is based. If this phrase is true, then everyone that eats at D’lish is just that, delish, and healthy. With a menu primarily made up of salads, sandwiches and wraps, this place has everything you need for a quick and healthy lunch. D’lish is conveniently located on Scottsdale Rd., just south of Thomas Rd.
